So apart from Merv and I, who else is planning on coming along?

Due to previous responses about how I don't have a Star Wars costume, I have finally rectified this and have created my own Jedi costume (refer May Picnic in the Park Meetup for pic)

I plan to be there around 10am to 1pm on Saturday, and plan to be there from the 10am start to 6pmish finish Sadly this time I'm going to have to conserve my money That said I look forward to adding more geeky stuff to my growing collection on my workdesk hehehe

I'm really looking forward to seeing Janet Fielding aka Tegan Jovanka aka Aussie Companion to the Fourth and Fifth Doctors!

Yes and it was certainly my era of Dr Who too.... though I will not be dying my hair ginger....

A word of warning... Avoid going to Supanova on a small (less than $200) budget... It's one of those places were half a shopping centre is devoted to your likes and you can only choose several items... hehehe

Also attached is a photo with my favourite Jedi character - Jedi Master and Jedi High Council Member Plo Koon!!! The photo was taken at the 501st Legion/Rebel Legion photo booth... This photo represents my fantasy of being apprenticed to the great Plo Koon made real hehehe (squeee!!!)

I got a lot of nice comments about my Jedi costume - and quite a few people want photos of/with me Actually I was told by members of the 501st Legion and their light side version Rebel Legion said that with my costume I could easily join them... So maybe next Supanova everyone will be getting photos with me Mwhaahaahaa!!!

Can't wait for Supanova Brisbane in November ;p

PS Thank goodness for public holiday on wednesday - I'm in desperate need of sleep after all this activity hehehe
