Hi! My name is Anthony. I am 26, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. My best friend and I are looking to spend the next couple of months in Sydney.

We are trying to get an insiders perspective on where might be a good idea to look for a job, especially withint a the gay community, or anything available! We are seeking housing as well and not really sure where to look. It seems craigslist isn't as popular there as it is in the United States.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

again you can luck into a shorter one. Also in the gayshare they might be looking for someone who will be staying longer rather than just a short period. We have Pubs and similar that have accommodation thats relatively cheap.

Jobs - will you have the right visas ? if so plenty of Recruitment places you can search for Sydney. If you will be
working illegally then you will just have to wait till you get here and chat with other backpackers/tourists and should get yourself something.

i reckon they will be on working holiday visa.
