I've met 3 specifically from SS and then a bucket load more at the used to be weekly Bimbos pizza on Thursdays...
Many a lady i friend - stalk - on the book of faces, possibly 12. But probably more.
I've only talked about you once though Chimpy, to say only the most positive of things.
Generally i befriend the ladies of the lounge but i do find some of the boys to be excellent value.

I've met several, including Mark the editor, at the two SS meet ups I've attended when visiting Sydney. It's interesting trying to match their online persona with the real thing. I would like to meet others if & when the opportunity rises, ie, an NTG funded interstate conference. Having said that I could be in Adelaide in early July.

Spent all day today talking about Chimpy with other SS'ers...on Facebook and in real life...what a hoot!

I've actually had someone tell me that they have discused what I said on SS in with another couple of people...
Don't like it at all in fact.
I think twice I've looked up a SS'er on FB but I'm really not interested in looking at photos and stalking...if I wanted to get to know someone I'd try talking/ chatting with them.

Just lurking and thought I'd post in here it's been ages but I think in the past 2-3 years I've met 50-55 of those on my Ss contacts list.
I'm probably friends with about 25 or so of them on Facebook and live with two of them and dating one. Ss is where most of my queer friendly bean folk all came from. Some I've kept in contact with better than others but all have been a total delight to meet in person I have Ss to thank for some of my best friendships!
I think in the past we used to talk about samesame in person a lot more, now Only if there's some big topic or if some exciting drama is unfolding.

I have met heaps of people in real life from this forum, the Melbourne girls on here used to be very active in meet ups when i first joined- chimpy, didn't i meet you at one of them once?!

I've actually made some pretty brilliant friendships via this site. There is the occasional discussion/ conversation about same same. Since i left Melbourne though i don't really see anyone from here in real life other than Bellie occasionally.

I have 36 on my Facebook that are from same same.

Yes actually you did meet me at the only meet up I went too. By the end of it chris_alexander was karate chopping people to stop them trying to hug me, hence why I have never been to another one.

I've discussed same same with people who have no idea what I'm talking about.

I've talked about you too chimp. Although I'd call it yapping rather than talking, because talking implies that someone's listening. I've told at least two people about your dvd attic and one person about your cat water fountain, the scratching pad, and the cat chaise lounge.

I've met three people from ss. One of them is neal james and I'm obsessed with him. The other was really someone nj was meeting and I happened to be there and he looked shocked when we were introduced. I guess he imagined me with smaller breasts.

There's a handful of people I'd be curious to meet. But I feel like I met the best ones and I shouldn't ruin a good streak.

I hope you didn't tell them what else I keep in my attic.

Haha i don't remember that but it sounds about right. That night i met someone else who never went to another meet up again but now happens to be one of my best friends in the world.

Yeah they really need to cut down the hug quotas at these things.
