June 15th is my deceased Grandmother's birthday. You aren't going to hold a seance are you? It's not even a full moon.

Maybe we are going to the old quarantine station at North Head for a ghost tour.

SameSame is like communicating with the living dead at times. In one sense Same Same is a much needed outreach service to isolated, senior GLBTIQ and lonely people. Kind of like the Red Cross daily contact telephone service.

Sorry to mess you guys around. I still have exciting plans, but since it's Sydney Pride this week, I'd better put it all back until Friday 29 June. I know, annoying, and starting this thread only tempted fate, but it will be great to see you all again when this finally happens. And we have a few tricks up our sleeves!

Fair enough. Sydney Pride is organised by the crew at Stonewall, but includes many other venues too. Since Stonewall takes its name from the New York bar which had the 1969 riots, it marks that anniversary each year with some special events, at a Sydney wintertime when there's traditionally not not else going on.

Yup, it's totally separate from Mardi Gras. xx
