Hi guys, the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras crew have emailed me to help put the call out for people keen to have a say in what Membership of their organisation should look like, aiming to open the door to more people, and especially young people.

Here's their message today, encouraging people to join their discussion group..

SGLMG MEMBERSHIP REVIEW

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is a Membership-based not-for-profit organisation that presents the annual Sydney Mardi Gras Festival. Through Sydney Mardi Gras and other events, our objective is to advance and promote the interests and wellbeing of the LGBTQI communities, and to build strong and positive relationships between LGBTQI people and the wider community.

We are currently undertaking a strategic review of Membership, what it means to belong as a Member of SGLMG, what role Members should play in the development of the organisation and it’s events, and how Membership can be improved to encourage people to renew and join as Members.
