Ok so this may seem like a strange post, but here goes.

There's this fashion designer in Melbourne named Pia Interlandi. Google her, she's rad. She designs "Garments for the Grave" clothes to be buried in.

She is seeking clients. And I am making a doco about her for Artscape on the ABC.

Her designs are beautiful, custom, silk and biodegradable hemp, and honor the body by fusing with it over time.

As some-one who once dreamt of being a mortician, has always had a fascination with death and lists Kissed as one of my favourite movies of all time, my very first thought was how incredibly touching and beautiful. My second was a lightening bolt image of myself as her mannequin/model, assuming that she has an actual line without everything being custom. I even registered for the web launch five seconds ago.
