Now folks ,

This is our Anniversary weekend!

It is the anniversary of our first date together when we went on a picnic to Mount French and did a little driving around. I will have to talk to Mark about coming around as I am sure he will be planning to swoon me off my feet to somewhere sensational...... and even better for him, no dog shows in sight!

Cheers

John

We possibly thought of a BBQ here.... (not as big as the past.... but still fabulous!) Food will be good but simple.

For those not familiar, we are a very train travel friendly site!

We would like to spend our first year as a Civilly Unioned Couple with people we like and love........ until Premier Cannot Campbell/will not / won't do Campbell takes it all away!

Just a thought. What do you think?

Cheers

Now the mind boggles...... crocodile maybe? I must research and see what Northern Territory is famous for in the culinary sense.
I am looking forward to seeing what you bring. I just love new taste sensations and treats!

Now I am looking forward to our BBQ and thinking of some new things to try! Always open to suggestions!

Cheers

John

PS From town our place is about an hour's train trip and 4 - 5 minute walk from the station

I recognised the water buffalo and thought mozzerlla style cheese or maybe meat..... but camel and barra is fantastic! Not had camel before!

Going to troll through the recipe lists for that one!

This will be so interesting!

Hugs

John

Do people want this gathering to go ahead at our place? Being a long weekend many will be away or trashed from Queens Ball partying. Its only a week away and we need to get organising and seeing who is coming. Or would you rather do a simple standard New Farm meetup gathering?

Hey guys, I'm going camping up on the Sunny Coast for the weekend.
Can anyone confirm details of this on Monday, as I'll be heading South from Sunny Coast.
Cheers,

So Monday is happening! Starting around 11 am.

Mark and John thank you so much for allowing me to be at your anniversary, it was a great day, hospitality, food and your house were awesome.

To all the other SSmers who were there, it was fantastic to meet you and finally put faces to names. Being outposted up here it was a really positive experience for me to meet a bunch of lovely queers.

Special mention to Dash for driving and Bellie for some inspiring navigational skills. Just to clarify I do not, never have, nor never will support the fucking All Blacks!!

I was shocked and repulsed when Dash outed herself as a fucking Kiwi, thats just fucking sick mate.

Thanks again, you fuckers rock!!

The only downer of the trip was a stalker, sadly SS too. What are the chances of bumping into a SS who you have only seen pics of randomly in Brisbane, well double that cos it happened twice.

First time Fortitude Valley on my way to Yum Cha at King of Kings, walked past me and winked, took me aback at first til I worked out who it was.

Two days later Im rushing to catch the train to the airport at 630am and bingo, same person just happened to be there and claimed me as a long last SS friend. Then made some lame excuse to get on my train with me!!

It creeped me out totally. Shes identifies as a dyke but Im having none of it, I know what your after missy, Ive told you Im in a long term relationship it cant work for us.

If your reading this Im sorry to DASH your dreams on the rocks of reality babe. But please put the gun down and back away slooooowly.
