I hate it when people try to describe bogan, it's best to describe what the majority of people aren't. And in QLD i've found a vast variety of people. Sure most of them are pretty ocker and tru blue mate XXXX but that's ok. They are passionate about Rugby.

People in WA are far more bogan. Cubs they call them. Cashed Up Bogans.

From my experience there are bogans all over this country. I have a lot of queensland mates, and I don't they're bogans.

I don't like going to scene-y places just to be seen these days, I don't like attention, in fact, I loathe attention on me unless it's for a good reason.

I am just as happy sitting on a deck in the sun with some close mates talking shit as I am at the footy cheering for my favourite team; I also like to get my hands dirty pulling cars apart every now and then.

I keep a healthy body and mind, treat everyone I meet with the level of respect I hope to receive back from them.

Tourism Tasmania has launched a 'Save a mainlander' campaign which features 5 types of 'mainlanders' that tourism tasmania wants to rescue.

The five mainlanders are 1. a tragic hispter 2. A culture Vulture 3 an overworked exectutive 4. a fanatical foodie and 5. try hard extremist.

If you bother to venture forth to engage yourself you'd find Queensland to be an inviting place to be.
