In all fairness, Mr Fitzgibbon, your electorate still isn't ready for Aborigines to be welcomed as Australian citizens. Let's not permit the sibling-seducing ape men of your electorate to affect social change in this country, unless that change be to become less like your electorate.

My personal opinion? Dump the lot and get some people in who ARE in touch with the PEOPLE who count...and that is us; we the public who voted them in the first place. We are not third class people, we do not live in a third class environment. Come to think of it there are some in parliament who got in without our consent. Who knows; it could be the governments way of finding out where all the minorities live, gay, Asian, what ever culture class or preference so they can function like hitler, label us, gather us and remove us.

What a cop out.

The reality is that we dont have a progressive Parliament in this country.

Overseas the experience has been that the Parliament has lead the way, and dragged society with them on marriage equality. Sadly it is the other way around in Australia.
