Just FYI - most people with Asperger's Syndrome do not consider themselves "suffering" from it. It's not a disease, just different brain wiring. I don't know if Pip feels this way personally or not, but it's best not to say "suffers", just as you wouldn't say someone suffers from female-ness or gayness...

Other than that, great article! I love Ladyhawke's music, and she's not hard to look at either. ;-)

Great interview -- super insightful and well written! Just a thought, torilee: I suffer from depression, but when I use the word 'suffer' I don't use it negatively or as a negative term, y'know? I can't speak for Heidi, obvs, but I reckon that she probably was just using it in the same way: to be diagnosed with any mental illness or neurological difficulty is, in a sense, to 'suffer' from it. You can say you 'suffer' from depression or anxiety or Asperger's without it necessarily being somehow negative, I think. Because, in a sense, you do 'suffer' -- it causes you discomfort and difficulty etc and that is, by nature, to suffer.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys. Re-worded it slightly :-) It was a great interview... she's a singer I really adore.

Everyone and their dog has Asperger's Syndrome lately.
It is no measure of health- to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
