I want to get a real professional shave and eyebrow clean up, but refuse to go to some ditzy young girl who hasn't got a fucking clue. Are there any real good MALE barbers around? Preferably Turkish as they have an awesome reputation.

barber as in your face ? if so not sure then

some guys have opened a small barber shop in Hunter Connection , enter from Pitt St and walk down the stairs on right side not any
of the escalators. There were advertising cheap haircuts etc but never seen anyone getting a shave. Still if yr in the CBD wont hurt to walk
past and see.

I go to the daggy place on KIng St between York and Market Sts. $15 per head.

There use to be one up off Taylor Square just past Kinsellas, on the left hand side in Bourke Street. Don't know if he shaves, though.

Stirling Salon just off Oxford St and Hawleywoods in Newtown both specialise in retro barbering and the most meticulous shaving. Peoblem with both is you need to book about 2 weeks in advance.

^Stirling is girly but Hawleywoods is definately blokes only .
