Default First memory of when you realised you were different???
This is mine - I have 2 :-)

About 4 years of age I used to dress up in my mum's dresses, done her handbag and shoes and go walking outside - with my mother chasing after me quickly and taking me back home! mind you, this was in the housing commission flats of Waterloo Sydney LOL. I don't dress up in women's clothes now but do have a secret desire to try drag LOL

Interacting with one of the 'toughies' of the neighbour at about 6...we were talking about 'sex' and asked him if he wanted to try it. He said only 'poofs' do that with other guys.

Lookin forward to hearing replies :-)

hehehe! Funny, this topic!

Well, I guess one of the biggest hints was that I was completely averse to sports, especially soccer. And here in Brazil if you're a guy and you don't like soccer, you're considered a poof. Of course this myth has not a single thread of truth about it, since I know gay guys who are soccer zealots.

So yeah, I remember I'd rather talk than play sports. Never felt like trying drag, not even when I was a kid. I'd also rather watch educational TV shows than watch action movies. That's as far as I can remember, I think I was about 8 when I started noticing I was different from other boys.

heheheHEHe! I used to LOVE that age when I didn't have to say a word about girls' bodies and such, I could just pull the "girls are silly, gotta stick out with the boys" card! eHehhehe! Such an innocent time, eh?!

What scares me is that kids today are having to face those sexuality complexes earlier each year! It's reflected on the clothes they're having to wear and so on. Parents are enticing boys and girls to find "a cute little valentine" as soon as they can, at least that's what it seems, since some times when I walk by some children they're already talking about who's the best kisser and kissing techniques at the early age of 7 or 8. I remember I only had to be concerned about kissing when I was about 14, I suppose.
