Hey people,
I'm a newcomer to the glory that is Melbourne, and I'm curious as to which clubs go off on Saturday, especially for the younger crowds, though anywhere good will do!
Specifically Saturday because unfortunately I'm stuck on Navy duties on most Fridays for the next two months, not as fun as one might think.

John Homosocial is on September 8th (Sat) - its an irregular party, not a "young" crowd particularly, but a cool one.

Never heard of the John one, will definitely have to check it out.
Agreed on Poof Doof though, went there a couple of times, crazy crowd yet surprisingly short queue, and its proximity to King St makes for a quick getaway when my mates decide to go to the strip bars, definitely steering clear of that shitfight.
Is Melbourne Swagger any good? Sydney's version is awesome, missing it a little.

I wouldn't go near King Street in a fit on a Saturday night! Or any other night come to think of it. Melbourne's CBD is just to revolting these days.
