Wow...I have to say I am sooooo less than impressed with Vodafone's launch of the iPhone. Absolute balls-up as far as I can see...and less than one day to lauch they still haven't announced prices...oh wait, they did for 10 minutes...then ashamedly took them back down because they were awful! Still too embarrassed to put them back up again it seems...

That and despite an email saying all its pre-registered (what the hell does that mean either you register or you don't) customers are 'front of the line'...it seems all Vodafone customers are being left to fend for themselves in this...pathetic...

Optus onthe other hand seems to have handled this exceedly well...looks like I'll be taking my custom there I guess

Agreed! The rates are back up now, and they still suck.

I've been a Vodafone customer since I came to Australia and, unless their plans change before I move, I'm going with Optus.

They're late, their rates suck, and I don't want to be tied into a 2 year contract (I'm currently post-paid but not on a foxed term contract).

Don't you take somethings for granted.....

I have a mobile phone supplied by work and haven't paid a telecommunications bill in over two years home phone, mobile or internet at home......so i thought i would check out the rates based on the discussion here and OMIGOD! Phones are sooo expensive....your looking at basically $200 a month just to have the mobile and home internet......shit i get a good deal!

its kind of a shame considering they are the best carrier out ... umm i saw a white i-phone yesterday still doesn't empress'er me much
