I'm not aware if Studio Magazines themselves are shutting up shop.

I remember the first buying the first issues of both mags!!!

That's a big shame.. I guess my collection are now collectors items.. I wonder why they're folding? If they introduced greater advertising into their strategy I'm sure they could of pulled in some good $$$...

Damn! I also have a big collection but I so don't wanna sell them they are like my children, its pretty sad its one of the reasons that inspired me to become an artist

blue is probably the biggest class act in australia gay media - i hope that this isn't the case. it's a huge shame, and an even bigger loss to readers, artists and definitely the gay media landscape.

It is creative destruction - something needs to move out, in order for something new to take its place. Things change, and in the super fast gay world we live in, something is cool for about a nano second - both the pop shop and blue magazine did really well. May they both RIP.

I've heard this might be resurrected, fingers crossed.

Greasy NY style pizza
Convenience Store
Kebabs
Chinese Massage

Have you heard the story about the NYPD pizza place? They were a few doors down the road from Stonewall, and then they got kicked out of their site and the original owner opened up a - wait for it - New York style pizza place in the place (which is so not as good)

But then the girls took NYPD across the road next to Olympic Yeeros and have now re-opened there. I love those NYPD pizza girls, they are truly ghetto and the pizzas rock.

(PS. Yes I agree it's kinda scary that I know way too much about the politics behind greasy fast food joints on Oxford Street)

yet somehow Tim still maintains his figure....he must be taking that Olestra fat suppressant pill. Take away those precious pills, and its back to that plaid, shapeless MuMu in the back of his closet.

i have never heard of all these places but i think they should put in a mcdonalds. and everyone could eat happy meals and be happy and the sun would shine and the world would be a better place.

i remember secretly trying to look at the blue magazine when i was still living in the country. just thinking how hot the men were and wanting to get to sydney to see some in the flesh. god i just sound like a sleaze
