Just thought I'd start a new thread so we can all talk about how fab the Island was today!

Thanks to Tim and the Same Same crew for putting on a great party.

It was a pleasure to have met you guys, I had an absolute blast. Each of you have your own special qualities that make the Same Same forum group so special. And to those I didn't have a chat to, I'm sure they'll be a next time!

There may have been some technical difficulties at the start, but something's always bound to go wrong at events such as these, especially when you're on an island.

And I'm glad that I manage to prove that I am a real person despite the lack of face pics on my profile, lol. There's a reason to that which I'll probably talk about in an upcoming thread about my life, know that I at least know you guys

I had an amazing time and the GLBTIQ community needs more events like this.

Non-scene, relaxed, out-doors, very reasonably priced and just simple fun.

Can't wait for the next one.

i had a great time, but i'd been working around the clock this week and was so so so tired- i think the heat and the champagne hit me a little too hard. had to retreat home early... and then slept for about 12 hours!

but yes - how great was the day? i had a ball. so lovely to see everyone...

I'm lying in bed with my twin sister sTaRiA we stayed out and watched the sun come up over the harbour this morning. We're thinking about going for yum cha after this.

How hot was the park ranger? We got a wink, nod and smile from him at one point. But both L_B and I thought it was directed at us. I thought we were going to have to fight over him.

What a brill day... I'm ever so thankfull to be a part of an amazing group of people like all of you. So good to meet people I had not met before and always a treat to see the mates I love. I got well drunk, well off chops and ended up crashing out after getting home with a big smile on my face. Can't wait for the next SS get together. Highlight was finally meeting Staria who is such a brill chick
