Have you ever been mistaken for a famous person?
Do you know anyone who has been mistaken, even for a second, for a celebrity?

I get Nick Darcy a hell of a lot. Especially when my hair is a bit longer. Thankfully I'm getting it cut this weekend.

People tell me I look like Peter Griffin from The Family Guy.

I get a young Kevin Bacon or Guy Pearce in equal measures quite regularly. I don't know who the first one is. I kind of resent it because I don't eat meat.

Not really a celebrity.... but for a period of time I was repeatedly mistaken for Travis off Big Brother!!!!

People could tell instantly I was quite offended... I didn't even watch the show - so had only seen bits and pieces.

It became such a joke - one of my 'friends' made this;
Ask me! I love telling people what to do....

A lot of people think I look like Missy Elliott

A lot of people in London always ask me if I am famous, then as soon as they hear my accent they presume Neighbours or Home and Away

Reminds me of going to UQ when I was a young lad fresh out of high school. There was this one City Cat operator who was the spitting image of Phil Collins, but a lot younger and much more muscly. Not only that but he, like every crew member on board, used a headset to communicate with other crew members, which just completed the Phil Collins impersonation. We would always taunt the shit out of him.

Oh it's soooo not offensive andrewc - Toby is dreamy!! I've had a crush on him since High School! So based on you being his twin, can I interest you in a drink?? haha

I've been told that I look like Bronson from Around the Twist. You can imagine I'm never impressed when I hear it...

Yes I mocked offense at the time, I had only just started opening the closet door at the time so couldn't revel in it! Plus I think had more to with the hairstyle and clothes I was wearing on the day they coined it! More than actually looking like him!

I was excited once when someone said I looked like Justin Timberlake... but they were 12!!! And I was only 20... much prettier then!

In supermarkets, I usually get approached by old men, who mistake me for Jon Benet Ramsey.
It is no measure of health- to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
