Default Japan. WTF?

What is straight? A line can be straight, or a street, but the human heart, oh, no, it's curved like a road through mountains.

This is real. In the Tokyo suburb of Sangenjaya, above a convenience store. (Notice the little girl he is holding in his hand. Its that attention to detail that makes Japan great!)

If that first pic is real, I may reconsider my vow never to visit urban Japan. I hate crowded pushy cities (Tokyo, NYC ... bleah) but if that's there to be seen ... hmmm.

Before this, my only aim in Japan was maybe northern Honshu or Hokkaido to see snow monkeys and Zen monks. Now, I add a gigantic plastic girl to my list ...
