Tori Amos covers MaryLambert's 'She Keeps Me Warm'

Having already completed the European leg of her worldwide Unrepentant Geraldines tour, flame-haired songstress Tori Amos treated her audience in Seattle to a cover of out lesbian singer/songwriter Mary Lambert’s love song, ‘She Keeps Me Warm,’ originally part of the Macklemore’s gay rights anthem, ‘Same Love.’

Those familiar with Amos’ live shows will know that she almost always devotes part of her time onstage to what she calls The Lizard Lounge.

She generally uses the time to perform a couple of covers and, true to form, she cleverly and beautifully blended Lambert’s song with Bill Withers’ ‘Ain’t No Sunshine.’ Watch it below.

During her current tour, Amos has often aroused controversy for her cover song choices. In Russia she performed faux-lesbian duo t.A.T.u’s ‘Not Gonna Get Us’ and she sang Culture Club’s ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?’ in South Africa, dedicating it the GLBT community worldwide.
