One of the most hated videosin YouTube history

This video has been online less than a week, but it’s already surpassed Rebecca Black’s Friday to become YouTube’s second most-disliked clip.

“I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a Christian, but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school,” says one of the Republican candidates for President in the 2012 US Election in the much-hated video message.

Texas Governor Rick Perry’s video, titled ‘Strong’, has received almost 8,000 ‘likes’, but 343,327 ‘dislikes’ – that’s a lot of thumbs down. Many more than teen singer Rebecca Black’s 250,000 dislikes.

Take a look:

As vile is it might be, Perry’s message is still nowhere near the most disliked clip on YouTube ever. Which one is that, you ask? It’s Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’, with over 2 million dislikes.

Hahahahahaaaaaa say goodbye to your attempt at being President.

Christian KNOB.

Agree TwoTen85 some Americans really warp/twist interpretations of a lot of things not just the bible.

Dont worry he'll go the way of that other troll and now 4 ladies have come out with sexual harrassement claims. So much for abiding by the rules of his Bible
or maybe he just twisted them around to suit his cock.

A US website says this video has almost 100,000 dislikes, yet only has 5,000 views.

A view is only counted if you watch the whole thing.

I told you something suspicious was happening. Any way why are we bothering with these Yanks when we have equally-foul schemes being hatched in Canberra and Sussex St Sydney?

Puritanical Englishman set forth on The Mayflower because they were kicked out of Bornesmith for loving Jesus too much. How conservative do you have to be before the English with their stiff upper lips have had enough? They set forth to The New world. Read Arthur Miller's *The Crucible* --- 'I saw Tituba with the Devil' 'I saw Goody Good with the Devil'.
Sad. Faith made America strong in the same way that KY Jelly made Mike Tyson strong in the ring.....think about it! lol
I believe in freedom of speech, people can say, to a degree, what they like. Affairs of church and state are separate. Says so in the Constitution. Americans are either 'Episcopalian' (Anglican) or Catholic. Alot of Irish migrants. Christian faith is beautiful when truly adhered to. Any religious faith which purports to love others and you would yourself like to be respected and loved is a good thing - but when you venture forth into "Jesus makes my country better than yours, so you'd better vote for me", well, let's just say....Perry makes baby Jesus cry.

YouTube is often slow to update its stats on the number of views, whereas it records likes/dislikes immediately. Often when a video goes viral, the likes/dislikes figures get ahead of the viewer stats like that.

The original clip is here:

At time of writing, it's had (at least) 3,427,502 views, with 535,157 dislikes and counting.

Rick Perry is only fooling himself by making such a pretentious video, we all know that people in glass houses should not throw stones and that if he actually gets into power he will be doing things and making decisions that will be far from Christian.

He will still get a lot of votes. About 25% of Americans are ultra conservative and I have read stats that up to 90% of them actively vote while more liberal minded people vote a lot less. So even if liberal outnumber them they can still be beaten by the nutjobs cause they're too lazy to vote.

What he says publicly on the campaign trail is bad enough. But check out what his campaign co-chair in Florida (Pam Olsen) said about gays in July:
"God is shaking. If anybody looks at the news and has just seen what's been happening recently with the floods, the fires, the tornadoes, God is shaking. Yeah I think you have God shaking, sure you have the Enemy shaking, you have both and I don't want to say oh that's the judgment of God or that's the Enemy. But the reality is God is judging us, and I think it's going to get worse." The fact that he's picked her to be in his team is very very scary.
