Santorum-inspired gay art ishot stuff

Republican candidate for Presidential nomination Rick Santorum is a conservative, anti-gay, ‘family values’ politician – but that’s not stopping some cheeky gay artists from producing sexy artworks in his honour.

Knowing how much they’ll wind him up, some photoshop-savvy political pundits have created hot homo artworks featuring the Pennsylvanian Senator.

This image of two men kissing was created entirely from portraits of Santorum. See it larger here.

And this picture of the smiling candidate was created from… well… hardcore gay porn. See it larger and a little NSFW here.

Santorum’s history of anti-gay statements and current opposition to marriage equality means he’s been no stranger to raging satire from LGBTI-friendly people and groups.

Back in 2003, It Gets Better campaign co-founder Dan Savage reacted to the Senator’s statements against homosexuality by creating a wicked new definition for the word ‘santorum’.

Savage decided santorum would mean “that frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex.”

He even created a website – SpreadingSantorum.com.

Santorum himself responded at the time: “It’s one guy. You know who it is. The internet allows for this type of vulgarity to circulate. It’s unfortunate that we have someone who obviously has some issues.”

Now a strong Presidential hopeful with his eye firmly on Obama’s White House chair, Santorum is still angering the US’s LGBTI citizens with his outrageous comments.

He has previously warned that allowing same-sex marriages could open the door to “man on dog” or “man on child” relationships.

When the question of marriage equality was raised on the campaign trail recently, he said that children would better off having a father in prison than being raised by lesbian parents.

He won't be around for long. He's got no chance at the Republican nomination let alone the White House.

With respect to Santorum = the guy is a plain idiot and fool. It begs belief that some halfwits in the US and Republican Party would even consider this guy for the President. But then again, he appeals the 'half a brain Christian folk' whom belief that the South with rise again, and that their religion will overcome their current economic situation (in others : half breeds with barely a dollar to their name whom fail to see outside their fence).

As for the artwork : pity the porn images are as clear :)

I thought the same thing about Tony Abbott and now he seems very likely to be Australia's next elected Prime Minister... :S

The primary election season brings out people like this because in the primaries the politicians need to appeal to their party, when someone (Mitt Romney) locks up the nomination he has to appeal to the undecideds. Thus needing him to come closer tot he centre.

Since 2008 Romney was always going to be the Republican nominee. If Mitt Romney doesn't win the general election this year, Santorum will be back and will probably win the 2016 nomination, but this one is going to Romney.

Regardless of what beliefs a person has we must not resort to making assumptions about their sexuality, sexual history or gender. It's not appropriate and just brings us down to their level. It also creates more hurt than any good. We must challenge and confront the ideas, actions and words of this man and not him personally.

Hilarious ain't it. I asked for that thread I created to be deleted since I realised how pathetic it was and quite harmful, also it was against my principles. At least I'm big enough to admit it when I'm wrong.

I would not vote for Abbott, but I would probably vote for Turnbull over Gillard - actually I would vote for Turnbull over anyone I can see possibly toppling Gillard. That is sad, I realize, but the reality.
