Britney's Comeback Backlash
Well Britney’s much anticipated comeback came and went – she mimed her new single Gimme More at MTV’s Video Music Awards on Sunday night in Vegas – and some have called it a bigger anti-climax than Y2K.
According to reports she partied until the wee hours on Sunday, about 12 hours before she performed, and quite frankly it showed. The once first rate dancer was lacklustre and wobbly throughout, sporting a sequined bikini, stiletto heels and a blonde wig – but the crowd still went wild.
It’s certainly a far cry from the days of pashing Madonna or performing in a near nude body stocking with a 7 foot python.
