No Cruising For Tom After All

Gay rumours have plagued Tom Cruise for years. So private detective and former porn star, Paul Barresi, has apparently been trying for six years to find out if Cruise really lives up to his surname. Turns out he doesn’t.

“Everything I’ve found, and everything I know, points to Tom being heterosexual,” Barresi told Contactmusic. “There hasn’t been one piece of solid evidence to prove that he’s gay.”

One of the most high profile pieces of fuel to the gay rumour bonfire was when French magazine Actustar printed a supposed interview with American gay porno star Chad Slater. The interview said that Slater had had an affair with Cruise while he was married to Nicole. Of course Cruise denied it, as did Slater eventually, and Cruise did what any self-respecting Hollywood celebrity would do – he sued Slater for $100 million.

Barresi has been spying on Cruise since his break up with Nicole and has found nothing. Either he’s correct, or he’s a really bad detective.

Either way the exercise hasn’t been a complete waste of time – he’s sold all the data to an English author who plans to turn the notes into a tell all book. Can’t wait to read that one.
