Mr Gay UK A Murdering Meat Eater
The first Mr. Gay UK competition winner has been charged with the murder of company employee Damian Oldfield. According to a police report, Anthony Morley [bottom picture] stabbed the victim to death on April 24.
Local press have also reported that the murder involved acts of cannibalism – police found chunks of Oldfield’s legs had been cut off and cooked on a saucepan on the stove. Tests proved the flesh was human, and the suspect had “eaten some” of it.
The Yorkshire police were called after some gruesome comments Morley had made at a local Chinese take-away. After the incident, the police discovered the body of a 33-year old man which was later identified as Oldfield.
Morley received his fame after winning Mr Gay UK in 1993, opening a number of gay events and nights.
Oldfield was an advertising manager for Bent Magazine, a branch of All Points North which owns the Mr. Gay UK brand – his unfortunate death garnered the sympathy of many of his colleagues.
“Damian had become an integral part of the sales team and was well liked by all his colleagues for his humour and infectious sense of fun,” said a co-worker. “He was always sociable to customers and was busy developing new areas of business for the company. His enthusiasm for his work often took him beyond the call of duty.”
