Who Ya Gonna Call? Kylie Of Course.
It’s a very cute idea – Tesco Mobile in the UK conducted a poll, asking men which woman they’d most like to chat to on the phone. The winner was none other than Kylie, who beat the likes of Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren – even her Majesty the Queen.
But Kylie’s not in everyone’s good books. She’s just wrapped up her European KylieX2008 tour and one of the show’s highlights has been her rendition of the Barry Manilow classic Copacabana. According to MSNBC she plans to release the song as a single, but rubbed the song’s writer Bruce Sussman up the wrong way when she asked if she could change the name of the song’s showgirl from Lola to Kylie.
He flatly refused, allegedly saying, “No way. Her name’s Lola. Not Lola Minogue, not Kylie.”
