Dannii: So Under Pressure
Dashing some people’s dreams, giving hope to others’, hiding from angry rejected contestants – it’s all in a day’s work for Dannii Minogue, judge on Britain’s The X Factor.
Recently she was the judge with the deciding vote, who stopped a male singing contestant from progressing to the next round. So he did what any normal person would do. He started abusing Minogue, then bought his family in, cornering her and shouting threats at the diminutive singer.
“I had to dive for cover,” Minogue told Scotland’s Daily Record. “I’d had the deciding vote and had turned him down, so he didn’t like me much. I was petrified.”
Dannii fled from the set, and only agreed to return when extra security had been arranged for her by fellow judge Simon Cowell.
