Don’t you love it when things just slip out of people’s mouths well before they are meant to?

Kathy Lette, the hilariously funny author, is currently touring Australia to promote her latest book and has let it slip that she is co-writing a musical with Kylie Minogue based around her hits.

No doubt spurred on by the huge worldwide success of Mamma Mia and We Will Rock You, Kylie’s new musical is aiming for a premiere in London’s West End. “We’ll weave all her hits together into a great storyline,” Lette said. “Kylie never does anything naff. She’s got a finely tuned crap antenna and we don’t suffer from an irony deficiency.” Boom-tish.

She also revealed that Dannii Minogue is working on the musical with Kylie and Lette. Here’s hoping that the storyline is good and they’re lucky with this musical, lucky lucky lucky.
