Madonna Lies About Horse Fall?

Recently Madonna disappointed Aussie fans by announcing that she won’t be touring her after all, later she was told by a Malawi court that she could not adopt a second child, and now she’s been injured after falling off a horse – for a second time. According to her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg, her horse was startled by paparazzi who jumped out from behind bushes to photograph her.

“The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer,” said the statement.

However, according to TMZ, freelance photographer Thomas Hinton claims that he was the only member of the press present at the time, and that he didn’t startle the horse at all.

“I arrived more than 10 minutes after she fell, and I was shooting from the street,” Hinton said. “I don’t know what [Rosenberg] is talking about.” He added, “If I had startled the horse, I would have gotten pictures!”

According to The Guardian, Madonna suffered minor injuries and bruises from the incident, which happened in the Hamptons, New York state, on Saturday.

She went to hospital after the fall but has since been discharged. Madonna was thrown from a horse back in England in 2005, fracturing three ribs and breaking her collarbone and a hand. She got back on a horse two months later when she rode through New York City with talkshow host David Letterman.

The accident was also referenced in her Confessions tour, which began with a horse-themed video, and saw her perform in equestrian gear.
