Minogue: Plastic Fantastic

Dannii Minogue has publicly spoken out about her love affair with botox, and that she is finally saying ‘no more’. In an interview with British mag Grazia the 37 year old pop star admitted that she agreed with the criticisms she receives that she looks ‘plastic’.

“I can see what people see, but I have to say that – while I have been open about doing it – I’m not doing it now.

“There is so much more pressure on women. If you can get older and be happier within yourself, that’s the main thing.”

Dannii told the magazine that she would be back for another season of UK talent show The X Factor and that the upside to no more botox is that she’ll actually have some movement back in her face.

“For The X Factor, it is actually quite useful to be able to have facial expressions,” Minogue said.

Earlier this year Dannii’s sister Kylie also admitted to Elle magazine that she’s a botox convert.

“I’m definitely not one of those people who says, ‘You shouldn’t do this.’ Everyone individually can do what they want. I also think it doesn’t have the stigma that it had when I was growing up.

“For all time women have wanted to, for the most part, look their best. It’s just that what we have available to us today is – what it is today. And if you want to take advantage of it, yeah. I’m preferring to be a lot more natural these days. I’ve tried Botox, I’ve tried all.”

Dannii has always been open about going under the knife in the past, however Kylie has never admitted to having any invasive procedures herself. Kylie has previously said: “You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.”

Well it's not as if either Danni or Kylie could really deny a bit of prick and tuck... I mean hello! They looked older in Young talent time than they do now! As long as they stop before they look like Jocelyn Wilderstien, they'll be fine.

As long as the line between 'refreshed' & 'frozen' isn't crossed over, Dannii will look good. Who knows? In 5 years from now they'll invent a skin rejuvination pill or something that Dannii will try...

I had a brief chat with Kylie at the British Glamour awards ... I love her but my god she looked hideous. Not only was her dress disgusting and the fur/feather thing she had on vomit worthy .. her face did not move, all you could see was these amazing white teeth and smooth smooth skin stood still yet she was laughing and jumping around at the same time.
