Ricky Martin's Got A Nice Pair

A year ago Same Same reported that Latino superstar Ricky Martin was going to be a father.

Ricky Martin has confirmed that he is now the proud father of twin boys, Valentino and Matteo [ pictured ]. They are the first children for the 36 year-old heartthrob, and the singer recently revealed them to the world via Twitter.

The twins were delivered through a surrogate mother 12 months ago, though the children were kept secret till the official announcement. They are said to be healthy and happy and in Martin’s full time care. The surrogate mother’s identity is not know to the public.

According to the official statement made to the world on Twitter, Martin is still elated with the new chapter in his life as a parent and will continue spending time out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.

Ricky Martin’s sexuality has always been a topic of public interest and discussion , but came into focus over recent years following pictures of him hanging out at the beach with a friend, as well as statements about the singer’s sexuality made by his beauty therapist, Ole Henriksen.

It has been considered that Ricky Martin came out of the closet to Hispanic magazine TV Aqui. When asked about his sexuality by the magazine, Martin is reported to have said that while he can still have fun with the ladies, he can bat for both teams, revealing that “his heart could belong to a woman or a man.”
