Man Killed By Two Girls In London

A gay man who was assaulted by two girls close to Trafalgar Square has died in hospital. BBC reports that 62 year old Ian Baynham was punched and kicked to the ground on September 25, his death caused by head injuries. His life support was switched off on Tuesday.

A 30 year old man who was with him also suffered minor injuries.

Police said that Bayman and his friend were verbally abused by a woman when they got off a bus late one night in Central London. When Bayman went to reason with her he was attacked by her and her two friends, a man and another woman.

UK paper The Sun reports that the two blonde teenage girls screamed homophobic insults while kicking him as he lay helpless. CCTV footage shows them laughing after the attack.

Detective Chief Inspector Alexis Boon told The Sun, “This was a vicious homophobic attack on two men who had done nothing more than come into central London to enjoy a night out and were verbally abused and assaulted within minutes of getting off the bus.”

Police have launched a murder inquiry and are appealing for information, screening CCTV footage of the incident in an effort to track down the two women.

“This was an isolated incident but the three suspects may have been abusive to members of the public earlier on in the evening,” said Boon.

It sounds to me that these girls were looking for trouble, the fact that it was a gay man they attacked was most likely luck of the draw. In no way am I defending them, they should be strung up with the rest of the uneducated, emotionally retarded humans in the world but if this guy had been straight and it had been black it would have been a racially motivated crime, if he was santa claus it would have been religious persecution .. come on now... they weren't looking for a fag to fight, they were looking for a fight... On another note why do we care when a gay boy band member dies... I think we need to get over ourselves a little bit.

Woah hang on there Jimmy...death penalty talk here is starting to get a little creepy mate... Nobody should have to face the death penalty, this is what life imprisonment is for...much more cruel to let the fucker sit in a cell for the rest of their natural life to stew over what they did. The only people worthy of the death penalty in any form are the pricks who take on the job of being a politician.

This is making me sick, the world is f-ked up. I don't believe anyone in the right mind would kick and laugh at helpless person. It's beyond sad and despicable act. An assault to anyone is not acceptable gay or straight...especially if it comes down to taking someone's life.
