Perez Hilton Is Looking For Love

Perez Hilton wants a boyfriend and we thought we’d help him in his search by spreading the word. The celebrity blogger has posted a video on his website, where he opens up about his body image issues, his frustrations with dating and how he does not want to spend the rest of his life alone.

“For the longest time I didn’t even want to get naked with someone,” reveals Perez. “Why? Because I was so insecure. I was extremely overweight, and I didn’t want anybody seeing me naked.”

The celebrity blogger is looking remarkably slimmer these days, however his new trimmer figure hasn’t made finding a boyfriend any easier.

“I have become painfully aware that dating is not easy. And dating is even harder when you have a certain level of fame, D-List or Z-List or any level. And… it’s even that much harder when you’re me. I thought it would be so easy, maybe I was naive? I thought ‘I’m looking great, I’m feeling great, I’m happier professionally and personally than I’ve ever been in my whole life’ – except for that big picture of ‘men’, because companionship is important. You can’t go through your whole life alone, because that would be really sad. And everyone deserves to find someone they love, even me.”

Perez talks about how his persona is “entertainment”, but this acts as a barrier to him meeting new people.

“I’ve kinda realised that dating is like picking a scab, and picking it again, and picking it again… and not letting it heal. I just want my wound to heal. I’ve also realised that there are a lot of fakers in Los Angeles, and I thought I was pretty good at spotting them, but I was sure mistaken.

The video ends with a desperate plea.

“I want to date, I want to find a guy this year. I want to find a great guy this year… And I’m gonna keep him… I wanna be a great fucking boyfriend this year, because I’m a good guy, and I deserve one… If you know anybody, email me… I’m pretty much desperate at this point.”
