In case you missed it, last week Madonna made headlines when she was filmed throwing away a bouquet of hydrangeas given to her by a fan at a press conference at the Venice Film Festival.
“I absolutely loathe hydrangeas. He obviously doesn’t know that,” she moaned as she leaned down to stash the flowers. Did she know the microphone was on? Burn!
The video was an instant viral hit, and currently sits at just under 2.5 million views on YouTube, sparking a number of catty parodies, spoofs and online meme’s.
Madonna, however, always has the last laugh.
Today she posted a video titled ‘Madonna’s love letter to hydrangeas’ in which Madge mocks her loathing of the fabled flower.

Cheers to Madonna for being such a good sport… but our question is – who gives hydrangeas as a bouquet anyway?
