Republican candidate for Presidential nomination Rick Santorum is a conservative, anti-gay, ‘family values’ politician – but that’s not stopping some cheeky gay artists from producing sexy artworks in his honour.

Knowing how much they’ll wind him up, some photoshop-savvy political pundits have created hot homo artworks featuring the Pennsylvanian Senator.

Santorum’s history of anti-gay statements and current opposition to marriage equality means he’s been no stranger to raging satire from LGBTI-friendly people and groups.

Back in 2003, It Gets Better campaign co-founder Dan Savage reacted to the Senator’s statements against homosexuality by creating a wicked new definition for the word ‘santorum’.

Savage decided santorum would mean “that frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex.”

He even created a website – SpreadingSantorum.com.

Santorum himself responded at the time: “It’s one guy. You know who it is. The internet allows for this type of vulgarity to circulate. It’s unfortunate that we have someone who obviously has some issues.”

Now a strong Presidential hopeful with his eye firmly on Obama’s White House chair, Santorum is still angering the US’s LGBTI citizens with his outrageous comments.

He has previously warned that allowing same-sex marriages could open the door to “man on dog” or “man on child” relationships.

When the question of marriage equality was raised on the campaign trail recently, he said that children would better off having a father in prison than being raised by lesbian parents.
