Called OUT NYC, Manhattan’s newly-opened boutique hotel is completely gay-focused – but straights are welcome too.
Whether you’re after a hedonistic weekend or a relaxing breakaway, this hotel has it all – a sunbathing deck and fitness/health centre, a nightclub, two hot tubs, and even a mysterious and beautiful ‘secret garden’ among its outdoor spaces.
“Of the 50 million tourists that came to New York City last year, it’s estimated that 8 million were LGBT travelers,” says OUT NYC’s co-owner Ian Reisner.
“We expect The OUT NYC will become the epicentre of gay life for LGBT New Yorkers,” he tells Reuters
Rooms range from US$200 a night. Click here for a gallery of images showing off the new hotel and find its official website here.
Marriage equality became legal in the state of New York last year – since then LGBTI tourism has increased substantially as same-sex couples travel from across the world to have their relationships recognised.
