The Family Equality Council is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2012.
In 1982 a small number of gay fathers got together and founded the group that would eventually become the Council. 30 years later, that group has grown into one of the leading advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parents and their children in the U.S.
To celebrate the anniversary, the group has just released this touching video featuring Zach Wahls, Episcoapal Bishop Gene Robinson and his daughter Ella, Mary Keane, and their Executive Director Jenn Chrisler.
Check it out below.
