Conservative group One Million Moms is making a huge fuss over this all-girl kiss in a new fashion catalogue.

Yes – this is the same busybody organisation that recently called for American department store chain JC Penney to drop Ellen DeGeneres as its spokesperson – simply because she’s gay.

Describing the photo, which appears in Urban Outfitters’ new catalogue being distributed around America, as “offensive and inappropriate,” One Million Moms – an offshoot of the American Family Association – has demanded the fashion brand be boycotted until an apology is given.

What do they have against lesbians? They appear to be worried about the delicate sensibilities of the catalogue’s younger readers: “Before your child has a chance to read the newest Urban Outfitters catalog call to unsubscribe from their mailing list and then throw it away,” they advise on their website. “When you call be sure to let them know why you are unsubscribing. Tell them you will also no longer shop at their stores if you hear this type of advertising continues.

“The content is offensive and inappropriate for a teen who is the company’s target customer.”

Urban Outfitters has not responded to One Million Moms’ weird reaction.
