This loud-mouthed pastor hates President Obama’s support of gay marriage so much that he now hopes all gays and lesbians can be fenced off separately so we can’t reproduce.
Footage of a sermon by gay-bashing North Carolina pastor Charles L. Worley has gone viral, showing him advocating for the concentration of gays and lesbians behind electrified fences.
“I figured a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers,” the mad bigot ranted. “Build a great, big, large fence – 50 or 100 mile long – put all the lesbians in there, drop some food down.
“Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can’t get out. And you know what, in a few years, they’ll die out.”
Worley’s new nastiness hasn’t surprised local LGBT advocates who know he’s been blasting gays for years – even decades – as the 1978 audio clip below cruelly points out. The pastor puts aside the Christian values of respect and love as he remembers a time when gays “would’ve hung from a white oak tree.”
As this story went viral, CNN’s Anderson Cooper attempted to shed light on it by asking probing questions of one of Worley’s flock.
Decide for yourself if this woman has a clue about anything at all…
It’s been great to see US President Barack Obama support America’s LGBT citizens, but it’s upsetting to now see he’s become a lightening rod for the worst kind of homophobia, as those against marriage equality become ever more desperate and embarrassing.
