Both Madonna and Lady Gaga’s concerts at the weekend have made dramatic headlines around the world – as Madge shows herself off in Turkey and Gaga almost knocks herself out in New Zealand.
During Madonna’s MDNA concert in Istanbul on Saturday night, the 53-year-old seemed to have a brief costume malfunction during her song Human Nature, then decided to give the cheering crowd a flash of her nipple.
Take a look on the video below. Of course, readers of her notorious 1992 Sex book have seen this all before…
Then the following night in Auckland, Lady Gaga’s Kiwi fans gasped as their precious Monster Monster was hit with a metal pole.
Only missing a word or two, the 26-year-old singer continued on with her song Judas as if nothing had happened.
After the song, she told the crowd: “I want to apologise. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don’t you worry, I will finish this show.”
See what happened below:
“Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay,” Gaga’s make-up artist confirmed after the concert. “She wants you to know she loves you. I’m taking care of her. Can’t believe she finished the show.”
The singer and equality activist left New Zealand this morning, coming here to join us in Australia for more spectacular Born This Way Ball concerts. She’ll play 14 shows here, performing for over 210,000 ticket holders.
