Just in time for Sydney Bear Pride, the first episode of racy new mini-series Where The Bears Are has hit the net.

The first episode aired on the show’s official website yesterday and follows the lives of three LA bears who wake up to find their house party was a raging… disaster.

Actor and co-writer Rick Copp says “this is basically The Golden Girls meets Murder, She Wrote about three bears living together in Silver Lake in Los Angeles, who attempt to solve the murder of a party guest that turned up dead in their bathroom.”

This black comedy eventually reaches a dramatic climax in the desert outside of Palm Springs, with plenty of eye candy in between.

A total of 25 four-minute episodes are expected to be released in this modest-budget mini series every Monday and Thursday in coming weeks.

Copp, with co-stars Joe Dietl and Ben Zook, have been working hard to deliver a funny portrayal of bear life and Sydney Bear Pride week is welcoming the venture with open arms.
