Voting Is Compulsory

Clubbers of Australia; the polls are open and it’s time to have your say. Yes! The 5th annual inthemix50 DJ Poll is back… bigger and better!

InTheMix is the first and most frequent destination for Australians who are passionate about dance music, and this year they’ve added a new category to the comp, Most Popular Producer. There has never been a better time to be an Australian producer with Australian tracks holding their own on local and international dancefloors like never before. The sheer depth and quality of local production just cannot be ignored and will be deservedly recognised for the first time in this year’s inthemix50.

Throughout the inthemix50’s five year history, the poll has been the barometer for DJs and genres on the rise or on the slide. Breaks and hard dance dominated for three years, then came the rise of electro, with its prince Ajax [pictured] nabbing the top spot in 2006. Will electro’s dominance continue in 2007, or can minimal have maximum effect?

Go vote and fly the flag for the gays! Whatever floats your boat, make sure you show support for the DJs, clubs, promoters, producers and events that have given you so many great memories by voting for them in the 2007 inthemix50 DJ Poll.

If you vote you will go in to the draw to win a Pioneer Pro DJ Digital Dex200 set up, including 2 x CDJ200 players, a DJM400 mixer, HDJ1000 headphones and road case.

Get your skates on and vote now at: www.inthemix.com.au/50. Voting closes Wednesday 5th September, 2007 and winners are announced Wednesday 12th September, 2007.
