Second Rufus Wainwright Show Announced
The tortured and talented singer songwriter Rufus Wainwright will be serving up a second show for Sydney fans this January. Since tix for the first show were snapped up in two days you’d best be quick if you hope to score tix to this new gig.
The tour marks the first time Rufus has come to Australia with his full band – an 8 piece ensemble which produces just the right amount of classical, jazz, pop and theatrical embellishments Mr Wainwright’s richly rewarding songs deserve.
The second Rufus Wainwright Sydney show will once again take place at The State Theatre – this time on Wednesday January 30, 2008 – and tickets go on sale Thursday September 06 through Ticketmaster 136 100.
