Dolly Parton Coming To Australia

Dolly Parton has confirmed that she will be doing a world tour starting in March 2008 that will include America, Canada, Europe and Australia.

“Yes, I am coming to Australia,” says Dolly on her website. “We have so many fans there. I had one of the best times of my life when I was there with Kenny Rogers… So yes, I’ll be there and I can’t wait!”

When it comes to gay icons, Dolly’s a living legend. Years ago, when asked on a late night talk show if her breasts were real she came out with, “Yep they are mine! Bought and paid for!” She’s also well known for her trademark line, “It costs a lot to look this cheap.” It’s this ballsy attitude, her generous philanthropic work, her outrageous hair and costumes, as well as her stellar music and film career that have earned her a place in many gay people’s hearts.

Dolly’s 2008 tour is sure to be one to remember.
