Help Find Matt
Missing 20-year-old gay Cronulla man Matthew Leveson’s MySpace page has been filled with messages of support and requests for him to come home.
Leveson has been missing since walking out of Sydney nightclub ARQ in the early hours of 23 September.
The young National Parks and Wildlife Service welfare officer is now feared murdered, after his family reported him missing after failing to show up for work on the following Tuesday.
His car was found two days later outside a toilet block at Waratah Park Reserve in Sutherland. Evidence supplied by Police suggests that he had not parked it there and they believe he has met with foul play. His close friends and family are still optimistic that Matt is still alive, but hopes are quickly fading as Police have turned the search into a homicide investigation.
Miranda Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle or anybody who was in the vicinity of Waratah Park on September 27 to come forward. They are also after anybody who may know of his whereabouts.
Mr Leveson was last seen wearing light brown cargo pants, a black singlet and white leather shoes. Anyone with information is urged to contact Miranda police on (02) 9541 3899 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Update: Matt’s boyfriend has been charged with his murder. For full details click here.
