Sydney's Gay Day Club Returns

There’s no denying that Manacle devotees have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms ever since the venue departed – particularly when it comes to day club.

While we’re still yet to hear what the Manacle boys have up their sleeves, we can announce the birth of a new day club at Phoenix bar. Introducing Rising.

Resident rotational DJs will include some of Sydney’s high profile superstars Dan Murphy, Johan Khoury, Mark Alsop, and Rado, with Brisbane special guest DJ Matt Steer, saturating sounds of high energy house, vocal, uplifting, with a splash of ‘hands in the air’.

The event will be backed by Johan Khoury (G.A.Y., Desperate HouseBoy, Studio 54), Randle Morris, and Smiley.

And for those of you who are still not convinced, Sydney’s favourite door bitch Vivien, from Manacle, will be there to meet and greet you all.

What more could you ask for?

Rising will launch next weekend – from November 11 – and will trade weekly only on Sunday mornings from 6:30am til late. Stay tuned to Same Same for updates.
