Dannii For Mardi Gras Party
Rumour has it that Dannii Minogue will be one of the party headliners for Mardi Gras’ 30th anniversary. Minogue will be back in the country for season two of Australia’s Got Talent and word on the street is that she’ll be paying the gays a visit too. If true, this will be Dannii’s third Mardi Gras performance.
It’s all happening for Dannii this year – she seems to have really found her niche. Her music career is going strong – her new single Touch Me Like That has just topped the club charts, making it her thirteenth consecutive club chart number one. She also just released her album Club Disco last month.
Dannii’s also settling into the role of talent show judge – in addition to Australia’s Got Talent, she’s also appearing as a judge and mentor in the fourth series of UK’s The X Factor, alongside Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.
When interviewed recently by the UK’s Sunday Mirror, she said that she was relieved to have found the regular TV gig. “I’ve finally been accepted as me… It’s a fantastic opportunity, for once, not to be compared with Kylie. At last, I’ve found my own slot.”
