Every up and coming starlet needs a scandal. Katie Underwood was done for drug driving, Paris’ sex tape steamed up screens around the world, Dannii’s lesbian lap dance raised more than a few eyebrows and now we can add Aussie girl Brielle Davis to that list.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the Serial Thriller singer will face court for driving four times over the legal limit just days after performing at a concert at Parramatta Park as an Australia Day ambassador.

Davis was arrested after smashing her Ford Capri into a house in Sans Souci in November last year. She faces court January 29. A spokesperson for the Australia Day Council said that as she was invited to perform before the incident occured, they’re going to stand by her. Her future with the Council will depend on what happens in court.

Lets hope the scandal works in her favour and gives her a bit more edge. It worked for Kate Moss, for Boy George…
