Manacle Will Be Back Soon

Good news for those of you who’ve been hanging out for Manacle’s return – there will be a Manacle Mardi Gras recovery in a temporary venue which will be announced in the next few days.

There’s been chatter about when and where the new permanent Manacle venue will be. While this information hasn’t been released, word is that they definitely won’t be returning to Oxford Street.

“Sometimes things move all too slowly and it’s so frustrating and looks like nothings happening,” says the Manacle website. “We’ve had some good and bad leads, some offers that would have compromised Manacle and even someone else claiming to represent Manacle while we were away in 2007. However, we do look forward to letting you know all of the details as soon as we can and that just can’t be soon enough.”

This year Manacle will also be presenting their first Saints and Sinners Party. “The address is certainly favoured among the Manacle crowd as a party space… Imagine a party for around 2000 people, a dance and lighting space designed by one of the masters, a chill out and bar area, somewhere to play pool or just meet with friends and it’s all on one level. We look forward to bringing you all the details soon.”
