Róisín Murphy Is In For V Festival

The enchanting Róisín Murphy, formerly of Moloko, has let slip that she’ll be joining the V Festival juggernaut around March/April.

Murphy released her second solo album Overpowered last year. It’s a fine collection of disco-tinged pop, reminiscent of Moloko but entirely its own. She’d give Björk a run for her money in the quirky costumes department too.

The Irish chanteuse has just revealed via Facebook that she’s part of V Festival’s much-anticipated second round announcement. What’s more, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney will be treated to sideshows too!

Sat 29 March – V Festival, Sydney
Sun 30 March – V Festival, Gold Coast
Tue 1 April – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Wed 2 April – The Metro, Sydney
Fri 4 April – Billboard, Melbourne
Sat 5 April – V Festival, Melbourne
Sun 6 April – V Festival, Perth.
