What an awesome month we’ve just had! With Australia awash with delicious Mardi Gras madness, there was plenty to keep us all busy throughout February. So, what were the stories that sizzled the Same Same frying pan last month?
The most read story by a country mile was our news piece about Brigitte Fell, the transgender woman who is currently taking two Surry Hills Police officers to court for breach of privacy.
It’s obvious that last month it was all about Mardi Gras and the hunt for those highly sought after Party tickets. Four out of the top ten stories were about Sydney’s annual gay pride celebrations.
The release of Mr G’s new single Naughty Girl caught everyone’s attention, as did the news that Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell had finally decided to hook up. Lewd comments from Big Brother’s Zach caused a stir, as did Alan Jones being crowned the “queen of breakfast radio” by Sonia Kruger. The gayest show on TV – So You Think You Can Dance – hot footed its way to the number ten spot.
